Jewelry and Beads

Earthenware Ceramic Jewelry

Earthenware bead making is fun and spontaneous! Each bead is hand-rolled so each one is slightly different and imperfect. Customers say that's what makes them beautiful!

Beads are glazed with Mayco and Duncan brand, lead-free, crystal glazes that really POP!

Shown to the right are beads after glaze firing. Each bead has wire through its hole and is hung onto the longer wire pole of the K-1 stilt.

Carol makes necklaces and earring sets, bracelets, pierced and clip-on earrings, key chains, and 4Gram and 2Gram beads for individual sale. Bead styles include round, bicones, fake rocks, flat discs, squares, rectangles, and molded beads.

The beads are durable and light weight.  Most of the individual beads BOUNCE OFF CONCRETE!

Carol pairs her hand-rolled, earthenware beads with metals and crystals to add texture and variation.   Each set is strung uniquely.  No two sets are EVER alike.  This can make selling jewelry on the world wide web a problem, knowing there is only one of the item pictured.
