Custom mosaics can be installed on any surface acceptable for ceramic tile: concrete, drywall, backerboard, and wood. Original patterns, hand drawn by Carol on freezer paper, are cut in raw clay, glazed and fired to 2200 degrees. The resulting mosaic tile is smooth, without sharp edges, and superb to other artists' broken tile catastrophies!

For shipping purposes, Carol glues the tile pieces to fiberglass mesh. Each mesh-mounted Texas Flag mosaic weighs only 6 oz. and is 6" x 4 1/4".

Imagine a complete mosaic bench top shipped to your door, mounted on mesh and ready for your concrete bench! Simply spread tile adhesive, set the tile on mesh, cure, and grout.
